Its 1:37 A.M. I feel incredulous. I mean, COME ON. Do I always have to stay up so late? Not to mention the fact that I am failing everything.
Ugh. FML to the seventh gate of hell. Honestly, I should have been smart about all of this, but I wasn't. My fault, I know.
Anyway, on to bigger and better topics. I met this girl today. She had the prospects to be a future friend. Her name is Hennepin Lorelai Bennet. See, the story behind her somewhat ridiculous name (but who am I to judge?) Is pretty awesome. Her mom was driving herself to the hospital, cause her water broke, when her contractions got insane. She told her husband she had to pull over, so she did, and she laid down on some random persons lawn. The random person happened to be a retired nurse named Lorelai, and they happened to be on Hennepin road. Hense the name Hennepin Lorelai Bennet.
I thought THAT was insane, but you should get to know her, she's even more incredible than her story. She speak 8 languages (german, japanese, cantonese, french, italian, spanish, portugese, and english), she went to Harvard, graduated as valedictorian, and the went to Cambridge to get her masters degree. She's engaged to marry and italian politician, she is a pediatrician, hell-bent on getting more child care services for the World Health Organization. She is a vegetarian because she hated the tasted of animals when she was 2, and hasn't since. She can speak gibberish fluently, and she reads for fun.
I thought that was an insanely brilliant story. She's particularly awesome.
The coolest part is how I met her: Barnes and Noble bookstore. She got the same chai as me, and we got to talking.
The people you meet at bookstores...what treasures...
I think that this shall be the beginning of my bookstore chronicles.
Until next time.
